Uni life

It has been 2 and a half weeks in Cardiff.
Unbelievably fast...
and have received lots of assignments...
I have realised there is a great difference between european country and asian country in alot of aspects.

UK - Shops and malls close at 6pm. (CRAP)
HK, SG - Shops and malls close at 10.30pm.

UK - Lots of short and old buildings around. No skyscrappers.
HK, SG - Lots of skyscrappers.

UK - Student's union is hyperactive
SG - Didn't join any activities organised by the student's union

UK - Lots of beautiful caucasian girls
SG - Lots of beautiful asian girls

UK - Nightclubs everywhere
SG - Nightclubs at certain areas, mainly concentrated in the town and city area.

UK - Strange weather. One day can be sunny, abit hot while the next is cold and windy.
SG - Bloody hot throughout

UK - Lecturers with different accents
SG - Lecturers with uniform accents ie. the singapore accent.

UK uni - Bloody lots of words individual assignements
SG poly - Group report

UK uni - Bloody chim
SG poly - Ok to understand

UK uni - Cannot slack
SG poly - Slack all the way

UK uni - 40% to pass 70% distinction
SG poly - 50% to pass 80% dictinction

Cardiff campus - distributed with different other buildings
Poly campus - concentrated in 1 area

Cardiff campus - No canteen
Poly campus - 7 canteens

UK - 8 pounds = 24 sing dollars for crispy chicken rice with soup (WTF)
SG - 4 sing dollars for the same dish

UK - Caucasians all around
SG - Chinese all around
