An email from Cardiff University
It is about the accomodation outcome.
As expected,
I got into my first choice accomodation which is at colum hall.
I will be staying at the first floor.
Not sure if that's a good or bad...
Good is that it is convenient for me...
Bad is that it may be noisy outside...
Whatever it is,
I am glad to be in colum hall.
The accomodation cost 2,844 pounds.
Consider low compared to other cities.
Mine is a single room and ensuite.
It can easily cost between 3,500 to 4,500 pounds in other cities like London.
School fees remain competitive at 9,100 pounds per year which subject to changes every year.
From what I know is that among the russel group universities,
Liverpool University cost the cheapest in term of school fees.
It cost 8,100 pounds inclusive of the deduction of 1,000 pounds for international student.
It was my second choice but due to its unique and incomprehensible local accent,
i am lucky not to be in Liverpool.
Phew...
Managed to know more about my work buddy
Have been working in the factory for the past few weeks.
I got to know more about this girl in the factory.
She is actually 17 only...
i thought she is 20...
Anyways,
we have lots of talk and she always laugh.
I love to see her laugh.
Just so sweett...
Overall,
I managed to know her better.
Just exchange QQ.
Good to make another friend.

I had made a new friend just now through Uncle Chan.
She is studying in uk right now but came back for holiday.
Still haven't known her well enough.
Just know she is studying in Uni of East Anglia and she is a year older than me.
No problem la.
I at first thought we were taking the same flight...
but darn...
she is going at 18th of Sept while i am leaving 1 day earlier...

I had a dream yesterday night.
I met my idol!!!

He is so cool...
even in my dream.
I can't believe it.
So in my dream,
I befriended with him.
And wanted to know more about him.
I remembered talking to him but have forgotten the conversation.
Then
got girls want to take pictures with him.
Then we went on a mini van.
Then he alighted.
I forgot to get his number and he is gone...

I am working from Mon to Sat for the next 1 month.
I am deeply in need of money.
Yvonne and someone are coming to HK.
I need to have money to eat outside.
I need to buy my personal stuff.
Very precious...
1 day should get at least $100.
Working for 24 days in a month...

Not enough to do my own stuff...
I shall request for $150 a day.

Destined to be a publisher
Now my hope of becoming a football director or manager is gone.
I can only succeed my father's publishing business.
I am going to need to study something relating to publishing.
Was researching and found out that University College of London is offering Masters of Arts in Publishing.
Requirement is that i need to get at least a upper second class honours.
I don't even know how difficult is it for me to get this class.
Whatever it is,
i am destined to be a publisher...

it is just a year.
It will be very fast...

Working at the factory
Today just went to work at factory.
I saw an unfamiliar face for the first time.
She looks like 20 years old.
She looks...
just 'wow...'
incredible...
I guess my father has recruited student for summer job.
Unfortunately only 1...
I was hoping for more.
So I managed to get to talk to her somehow
but she is just too quiet.
She don't talk much.
Then I scared scandal.
Didn't manage to find some time between us.
Well,
i will be going to the factory from mon-sat.
There will be time for me to get to know her...
Walk around Tsim Sha Tsui
Just 1 boring stroll around Tsim Sha Tsui.
Took 2 hours plus for the whole trip.
I wore like a normal slacker,
which i used to wear in Singapore.
T-shirt, bermuda, slippers.
Equipped with a camara.
I definately resemble a tourist,
most likely from Singapore.
Didn't manage to spike up hair.
If i did,
i look like from Sentosa...
Anyways,
walked around the coastline...
not really coastline.
A walkway i suppose near the water.
Got a few tourist requested my help with some photo shooting.
I shot them
and in return,
they shot me too.
Encountered an embarassing moment.
There is this couple who asked for my help
and without hesitation,
i took a photo for them.
Then I asked them,
are both of you from Taiwan?
Then they become very shy...
they said they are from Shen Zhen.
Then I become very shy.
Then I walked away.
LOL!
Interesting...
So just walk around
and reached home at 6+.
Anyways,
i made 2 or rather 3 new hk friends today.
I must thank Zoe for her help,
got to treat her some 'thing' next time.
So got to talk with 2 of them.
Lots of things to talk.
From studies to football to politics to cultures to jokesand ultimately,
to girls.
Another 'ínteresting'...
Hope our topics won't end so fast.
Managed to get their msn.
Learnt some bad words from them,
and in return,
they learnt some from me too.

Movie with my hk friend
Just went out with Zoe today for the movie 'wanted.'
The movie is great!
The special effect is well done.
I felt sorry for the russian guy who died...
Angelina Jolie is hot but i was shocked she died in the end.
9.5/10 overall for this movie.
This is my third movie in HK after Ironman and Speed Racer.
I hope Wai Yiu will come back...

Well,
after that we just walked around the olympics and then had dinner then took photo.
I look like shit in the photo but never mind,
for guy it's ok.
Most importantly is that the girl must look pretty in the photo.

And then she took bus home.
She is a really busy girl.
One call after another.
Even my sms exchanged in 1 day in Singapore is less than the number of call she make and received in 1 day.

Bad news is that I am going to work from tmr onwards.
Good news is that I will be paid.
I will work at the minimum wage of $30/hour.
Work for 7 hours.
1 day $210.
Pathetic pay...
No choice...
Go Uk is going to be a few thousand times of that sum.
